Used Piccolo

This horn had a Reeves valve alignment prior to my owning it, and I’ve confirmed that they have the horn’s serial number (and therefore pad specs) on file. The horn comes with its original Schilke Bb and A cornet-shanked leadpipe as well as a Reeves A adapter. This allows you to play with essentially the same tuning slide pull, and therefore the same feel from the Bb to the A side. The horn’s finish shows its age – I believe the previous owner had more acidic hands than I do, as some contact points show brass peeking through the finish. Schilke’s presence in the company at the time and so-on make it a superior instrument for baroque and quintet performance, in my opinion. Also included are a Curry heavy cap and a Schilke gold-plated cap, which I use on the 3rd slide.
