Vintage Yamaha 62 Grenadilla Wooden Piccolo with Old Cork Pads No Case
This listing is for a vintage Yamaha 62 piccolo for restoration/repad. The wood is dry and needs to be oiled. The pads are old cork and the piccolo plays down to G. There is some plating wear – the E key plating worn, pitting on thumb keys, pitting on D#. Upon further inspection the headjoint has a very tight small hairline crack at the end of the headjoint socket. The body has no cracks, body tenon moves about 1/4in but not all the way around (common with wooden Yamaha piccolos), we’d suggest a full refurb, no case included. A dear friend of ours recently passed and we have been appointed to liquidate their flute collection. All flutes are from a non-smoking home and have been carefully stored in a temperature-controlled environment (no odors).
