Used Piccolo

This listing is for a nice vintage Artley grenadilla wood piccolo in need of a little TLC but plays well as-is. The right hand rib has been pulled up a little (some missing rib screws in this area) and the pads are older but it does play well as-is and has no cracks. This piccolo was made by Roy Seaman for Artley’s line and is a great semi-pro American-made option for someone looking for an upgrade. This piccolo originally came with just the sterling silver headjoint but it paired beautifully with a new old stock Armstrong grenadilla wood headjoint to offer it as a fabulous combo. Again the pads are older, would recommend a full repad and the right hand rib to be adjusted/straightened, but it is playable as-is. There are some very lightly etched numbers we almost didn’t notice on the barrel, likely old inventory reference #. The wood could use a good cleaning and oiling from sitting also. Included with the set is a new Emerson carrying bag with new case to fit everything perfectly. We will be offering more instruments in a variety of specs and price ranges in the near future!
