It is in excellent condition. Silver 99.9% with no noticeable wear at all, and a couple very small dings on the bell if you look very close. All tuning slides free, valves are smooth and quiet with no issues. Just cleaned and lubed. Very little playing time on this horn. Includes the original Bach hard case with both keys, and both A and Bb leadpipes. An excellent picc in excellent condition, so snatch it up before the off-to-conservatory rush! Born Vincent Shrotenbach in Vienna in 1890, he initially received training on violin, but subsequently switched to trumpet when he heard its majestic sound. While performing under the stage name, Vincent Bach, he established musical success as he toured throughout Europe. World War I forced Vincents move to New York City where shortly after in 1918, Vincent went into the business of making mouthpieces and by1924, the first Bach trumpets were produced. Musicians frequently referred to a Bach trumpet as a real Stradivarius, thus inspiring the name Bach Stradivarius. Today, these instruments continue to embody the highest standards of craftsmanship and adhere to Vincents original designs and blueprints. Bach piccolo trumpets are very rare and collectible, and this is great value so dont miss out! This is a professional G piccolo trumpet in excellent condition. The lacquer is in great condition with no signs of any major wear with only one minor ding on the bell and some scuffs that do not effect playability! The valves are very good and the slides all move as they should. Comes with its original case which is also in excellent condition and original key. A King 7 mouthpiece is also included. Welcome to Ashantee Music! Matching Exceptional Students With Quality Instruments. We are pleased to offer for sale this Bach Stradivarius Model 196S Bb/A piccolo trumpet in silver. It is in exceptional condition: Cosmetically almost perfect, with one tiny pin-prick on the left side of the bell as seen in the photos. No signs of dent removal or repair. Valves are fast and smooth with very little wear at all. All tuning slides free and show very good compression on insertion. Just chem cleaned, lubed and polished. Both Bb and A leadpipes included, as is a polishing cloth and mouthpiece/tuning slide/valve brush. Also included are two Schilke mouthpieces in good condition with just minor wear: a 13A4A and a 14A4A, the latter still having the same shallow cup and narrow throat for the brilliant piccolo sound, but with a bit larger cup diameter for increased power. Comes in the original hard case in excellent condition. A great little picc in great condition to fill the extra space in your trumpet players triple case, and just in time for Christmas! Bach Stradivarius Corporation Bb PICCOLO TRUMPET MODEL 311 c. Reluctant sale of a surprisingly practical and impressive instrument after a few years of wedding gigging. The detachable bell is in pristine condition with perfect lacquer – valve section has light wear on holding pipe and very small ding on the 3rd valve out pipe which does not affect playability. The valve action is quick and light. Slides free and easy. The trumpet takes very little air and is a dream to play up high. The long bell projects a naturally brilliant sound without extra effort, which makes the trumpet at home in large halls or churches. This mouthpiece has only ever been played with this horn and is like new. Feel free to ask for any further information. You will have a very hard time finding another used professional model Picollo Trumpet in better condition! There are only some minor marks/scratches on the instrument – I did not see any dents on it. Tuning Slides all move freely. Valves function nicely with NO wear through spots – compression is EXCELLENT! Water keys work fine. Instrument needs a basic cleaning/servicing. Trumpet plays great with a clear yet rich resonant tone. Intonation and response are excellent. Original Hard Case is in very good condition with no odd odor. There is NO MOUTHPIECE. A VERY RARE FIND – Original condition Bach Stradivarius model 311 Bb Piccolo Herald Trumpet with orginal Bach hard case! This old & rare Bach piccolo herald longbell trumpet still plays just fine, but the plating and lacquer has started to wear thin & is pitting in places all throughout the horn and the bell is creased and dented. However, the only issues with this unique & rare classic Bach piccolo herald trumpet are all cosmetic. All three (3) valves work just fine and the horn still plays very well for its age. This instrument is still in its original condition and comes with an original VINCENT BACH 7C (cornet size) mouthpiece. With a little TLC, this will make a very valuable collectors item which I just dont want or need anymore (as Ive had it well more than 30+ years)…. Plus, it plays well (its a Bach)!
