This is an early 1910’s Antique piccolo with a silver-plated finish, housed in a 1960’s hard case with blue velvet lining. Condition Note: The item is slightly tarnished and may require polishing to restore its luster. Based on the Catalogue of the Sir Nicholas Shackleton Collection, a vintage piccolo featuring the number 5421 is identified as a C Piccolo, built in the Borne-Julliot system. Location: La Couture-Boussey, France. Cited from The University of Edinburgh. Djalma Julliot was a well-known French woodwind maker, often associated with high-quality instruments produced in the early 20th century.

Vintage Silver Plated Model 3 French Style Gemeinhardt Flute With Hard Case. The Gemeinhardt 3 intermediate flute offers a French style (open hole) model featuring a silver-plated J1 headjoint and silver-plated body, mechanism, and B footjoint, as well as an inline G. These specifications are what many teachers recommend for students upgrading to an intermediate level. Flute is in good condition with some typical tarnish and general use marks. The hard shell case has moderate fading, scratches and marks. This flute was manufactured in the USA in the early 1990’s. Flute measures 26.5 inches. The carry case measures 16.75″ x 4.25″ x 2.5.

Vintage Uebel Handmade German Professional C Piccolo with Split E Grenadilla Wood

This listing is for a vintage professional G. Uebel of Erlbach, Germany piccolo in the key of C in overall great shape. The headjoint appears silver plated (no silver markings), the body is grenadilla wood and the keys are silver plated. The mechanism features Boehm configuration, closed G#, split E, and has a Bb trill with French-pointed G#, D# and trill key pad cups. There is no plating wear nor significant signs of use. No cracks in the wood anywhere. The pads are leather and in great shape. This piccolo needs a light servicing to be in great playing condition (new headjoint cork and a PC service should do it). The case and cover are in fabulous condition. This piccolo will make a fabulous player once fine tuned it’s so close! We just don’t have the time to get it to 100% at the moment. If we find time to adjust this one we’ll bump up the price accordingly. We will be offering more instruments in a variety of specs and price ranges in the near future!
