With the use of FiberTech snares, a crisp and articulate sound is obtained while ten independently adjustable strands allow for precise tuning control. With the thickest wall in the industry, the SFZ suspension ring allows high-tension tuning without warping. It uses a solid, die-cast design and a special aluminum alloy to provide exceptional strength with minimum weight. It is also tall enough to accommodate the stretch of a plastic head. An extra long lug nut provides sufficient threading to effectively grip the tension rod. Its beveled edge guides the rod to eliminate cross threading, a feature especially helpful during last-minute head changes. Tubular lugs are made of high-quality, lightweight aluminum, and feature a thick wall to resist dents and bending from heavy use. Stabilizer Power Posts support the tube lugs by adding considerable resistance against damage from accidental bumps and stick hits.
