Antique Carl Fischer Grenadilla Closed Hole Boehm Flute Nickel Silver Keys C Ft
This listing is for an antique Carl Fischer (Germany company stencil brand with Carl Fischer as the importer) flute in grenadilla wood with nickel silver a. The configuration features Boehm system with nickel silver closed hole French-pointed keys, offset G, Bb trill, C foot with ebonite roller and teardrop D#. This flute plays well as-is and the pads are in great shape but we would recommend having a COA a. “Tune-up” to have this flute put in optimal playability. There is one hairline crack on the headjoint by the metal socket, one previously repaired hairline at the bottom of the headjoint and there appears to be a tiny hairline through the D# tonehole but we didn’t disassemble it to see if it was old and repaired or more recent. Again the pads are in fabulous shape so just a little further TLC and the flute will be a great player! We believe this flute was actually manufactured by Adler.
