Emerson ELD Closed Hole Flute & Piccolo Set w/ OHSC, Sterling Silver Head Joint w/ Gold-Plated Lip Plate, Silver-Plated Body & Low B Foot Joint, Made in USA, Gently Owned, Very Good Condition!!! Today, we’re very pleased to offer this Emerson ELD Closed Hole Flute & Piccolo Set w/ Original Hardshell Case! The flute features a sterling silver head joint w/ gold-plated lip plate and silver-plated body and low B foot joint. The head joint is a replacement, but is an Emerson (the head joint shows the more modern company logo, while the body shows the older style logo). The year of manufacture is unknown, but serial #032597-6 can be found on the body. Has been gently owned and is in very good condition with normal scratches and a tiny, barely visible ding in the head joint too small to capture in photos. In exceptional playing condition with excellent pads, corks and springs – keys move very freely! The piccolo features a plastic body and shows noticeable finish wear on the keys, but is in overall good cosmetic shape. Like the flute, it is in excellent playing condition with great pads, corks and springs! Working in our brand new band and orchestra repair shop, you will find Mike Lyle, who has more than 40 years’ experience repairing brass and woodwind instruments. Every instrument is inspected, thoroughly cleaned, serviced (as needed) and play-tested by Mike. His first 20 years were spent playing and repairing instruments for the U.
