1960’s Silver Played C Piccolo In 1960’s Blue Velvet-Lined Case BEAUTIFUL
This is an early 1910’s Antique piccolo with a silver-plated finish, housed in a 1960’s hard case with blue velvet lining. Condition Note: The item is slightly tarnished and may require polishing to restore its luster. Based on the Catalogue of the Sir Nicholas Shackleton Collection, a vintage piccolo featuring the number 5421 is identified as a C Piccolo, built in the Borne-Julliot system. Location: La Couture-Boussey, France. Cited from The University of Edinburgh. Djalma Julliot was a well-known French woodwind maker, often associated with high-quality instruments produced in the early 20th century.
