Antique Haynes USQMC Db Grenadilla Wood Piccolo Sterling Keys 1918 & Case As-Is

This listing is for a Haynes grenadilla wood Db piccolo made for the USQMC group back in 1918 (per Haynes’ serial records). This piccolo needs new pads/refurbishing to be in playing condition. This piccolo features grenadilla wood head and body. The keywork is Boehm with closed G#, it pre-dates the Bb trill (so no Bb trill key), silver keys and still has the gold springs intact. Included is a new case that is lovely with a burgundy interior. This is listed as part of an estate sale we are liquidating. Grenadilla Piccolo Flute by Marigaux

This is a Marigaux (SML) Piccolo, serial #54. It is full made of grenadilla wood, with what are assumed to be silver plated keys although they could be solid silver. This instrument is in very good playing condition. The piccolo was fully serviced in June 2024, which included a full re-pad with cork pads and several adjustment felts replaced with cork and teflon for improved key motion. Proof of this service with the list of work done can be supplied upon request. It was also overhauled several years ago and has been owned by a repair tech. It is an older piccolo and therefore does show some signs of wear, which do not effect it’s playability. This piccolo will come with its hard case and metal cleaning rod.

This listing is for a rare antique handmade G. Gemeinhardt piccolo made in Markneukirchen, Germany. This piccolo features silver plated finish (over nickel silver) on the headjoint and keys with a grenadilla wood body. Keywork configuration is standard Boehm French-pointed with closed G# and it has a Bb trill key. This piccolo needs a repad to be in playing condition and sadly does not include a case. Antique Carl Fischer Grenadilla Closed Hole Boehm Flute Nickel Silver Keys C Ft

This listing is for an antique Carl Fischer (Germany company stencil brand with Carl Fischer as the importer) flute in grenadilla wood with nickel silver a. The configuration features Boehm system with nickel silver closed hole French-pointed keys, offset G, Bb trill, C foot with ebonite roller and teardrop D#. This flute plays well as-is and the pads are in great shape but we would recommend having a COA a. “Tune-up” to have this flute put in optimal playability. There is one hairline crack on the headjoint by the metal socket, one previously repaired hairline at the bottom of the headjoint and there appears to be a tiny hairline through the D# tonehole but we didn’t disassemble it to see if it was old and repaired or more recent. Again the pads are in fabulous shape so just a little further TLC and the flute will be a great player! We believe this flute was actually manufactured by Adler.
