JOHANNES HAMMIG GRENADILLA WOOD PICCOLO – BEAUTIFUL CONDITION. Hammig are renowned piccolo makers and are coveted by some of the world’s top players. Phillip Hammig piccolos are well known as quality piccolos, but the Johannes Hammig piccolos are superior in both the quality of the aged grenadilla wood and with more undercutting, produce a solid and fuller tone. This particular piccolo is the 650/4 equivalent with solid silver keywork and has the added bonus of a reform headjoint. The condition is superb throughout and although the pads are used, they are nicely seated and have therefore not been replaced. The silver is excellent and the condition of the wood superb. I do not know the exact age of the piccolo but it has obviously been cherished and regularly maintained. The case has some wear on the corners (see the photo) but is solid and includes the silver cleaning rod and grease pot, which is full. 5% DISCOUNT – Can be offered, please contact me for details.
