The body is clearly marked “TAKEZAWA TPC203 JAPAN”, and the headjoint features an ornate engraving marked. “HAND MADE TAKEZAWA JAPAN”. TAKEZAWA piccolos are relatively uncommon on the international secondhand market, making this an interesting instrument for piccolo players, woodwind enthusiasts, and collectors of vintage Japanese musical instruments.
