USED YAMAHA YPC-31 PICCOLO IN C, PLASTIC BODY, SILVER PLATED HEADJOINT. It plays quite well as it is. This would be a good instrument for a student who doesn’t want to play their good concert piccolo in marching or pep band situations. Plastic body has a few light scratches from day to day wear. Plating on the headjoint shows some minor pitting. There is a small ding in the lip plate. I’ve played the piccolo and the ding was not a factor. Piccolo comes with it’s original case and cleaning rod. The case has 2 different styles of latching mechanisms. It looks odd but holds well. The velvet lining of the case is slightly frayed around the edges. The case is sturdy and will protect this instrument. Wichita Band Instrument Company is a small musical instrument emporium located in the center of the USA. Weve been in business since 1953 and have had the same owner since 1963. Originally we were a repair shop that specialized in woodwind and sax restoration. Today we have 18 employees including eight of the finest repair technicians in the country. Virtually ALL the items we sell have been fully reconditioned in our own shop, although we do sell a few unrestored historical instruments each year. Due to the heavy demand for our services, we do no school repairs, and very few walk-in repairs. With a used flute from OUR shop, you know its in the finest condition when it arrives at your home! Heres what we do to all used flutes we sell. The instrument is taken apart and everything washed clean. Dings are next burnished from body, head and foot. After the body-shop works been completed, we swedge hinge-tubes tight again and re-fit them to the flute body. Finally, pads and corks are replaced and the instrument play-tested. Pre 1950 French flutes often require more than twice the restoration time that we need for a modern Haynes or Powell. We use thin double-skin pads of the highest quality and shim each pad in the manner of the best Boston makers. We dont float flute pads with shellac, as did the original Paris workshops. Its in addition to any factory guarantees. For two full years, we will repair or replace, whichever in our estimation is the more advisable, pads, corks, springs or other parts required, at no charge to the customer. Wichita Band Instrument Company maintains a repair department capable of restoration work of the highest quality. Even though repairs are essentially free for the first two years, after that period has expired, we remain at your service to maintain and repair your musical equipment forever. Yamaha YTR-6810S Piccolo Trumpet in GREAT condition. The only thing I see is a dent at the beginning of the fourth valve slide, please refer to last photo. Besides of the dent, everything else pretty much looks pristine. I have tested and performed on it and plays beautifully and a nice rich sound. If you are wondering, the dent doesn’t affect performance in any way. Includes: A leadpipe, Bb leadpipe, Schilke 11AX mouthpiece and original hard case. I can guarantee it’s next owner will not be disappointed. I’m moving to a long-bell version so I have to let this one go. Gemeinhardt CS solid silver piccolo in really good cosmetic condition with just some minor blemishes which I was unable to make show up in the photographs – a small area of plating loss just under the serial number, a really tiny ding and just a few surface scratches. All are negligible and the general overall appearance is clean and shiny. Just fully serviced ready for the new owner so also in great playing order. A copy of the service invoice can be seen in the last photograph. It comes with a cleaning/tuning rod in the original velvet lined case which isn’t the prettiest, brown being an odd colour any way! It is a bit tatty on the outside and has been patched up so for this reason I have also included a purple NAP Paris soft carry case/cover which has a short carrying handle, a detachable adjustable shoulder strap and a side storage pocket. This is a piggyback case (the piccolo being the passenger) so also holds a flute and it is in excellent condition.
