The horn has just gone through our shop and is in excellent playing condition. Includes both original Leadpipes, A & B. Pistons are quick with good compression. All slides are free and smooth. Water key seals as it should. There is no evidence of major repairs. Cosmetically it is very good showing only light play wear. Case shows some wear but works as it should. Handle, latches and hinges all good. Someone has sprayed some touch up on the outside of the case, most likely to cover a painted stencil. This version of the Signet is a stripped down version of the Bach Model 196 Piccolo. General construction is the same with a 2 piece bell instead of the one piece used on the Bach.
