Antique Gebruder Monnig Flute #13234 & Piccolo #13104 with Headjoint Adapter, Case
You are looking at an Antique Gebruder Monnig Flute and Piccolo with Headjoint Adapter and Walnut Case. The flute is a wood body with unlined wooden headjoint. This is a Pre- WWII open-hole model with silver mechanism, Split E and D# roller. This may have brass inserts in the open hole keys. No splits or cracks and plays very well over the entire range. The piccolo plays well (hasn’t been played much) and the pads have been replaced. The headjoint adapter for the flute is custom made from blackwood and it allows to be used with modern headjoints (Jupiter and Abell wooden headjoints have been used to play).
