Really awesome antique instrument here. It is a piccolo oboe, or known as a French musette. Not sure what metal for the keys. All keys depress, open and close as should, except one gets stuck open and can be tapped back down easily. Has markings of instrument maker C. Fischer, which puts this instruments’ age at late 1800s to early 1900s. May need tuning and cleaning for use. Please ask any questions, thank-you. This is mainly the reason why so many SINGER zig zag machines were only made in Germany and nowhere else. It is constructed from high grade stainless steel and it’s condition is really glowing as you can see in the photos provided, it is Over built and will outlast many lifetimes, like most Vintage items will do ;- Fabulous German quality, at it’s best.
