This Ian McLauchlin hardwood grenadilla headjoint is custom made for the Yamaha YPC32 piccolo. (Photographs show the headjoint fitted to the Yamaha instrument and also it fits in the case). Please note it cannot be adjusted to fit other makes of piccolo. This headjoint transforms the tone of the student instrument Yamaha YPC32 completely and is a joy to play. It has a’wave’ or’reform’ shape, giving a more immediate response, and makes articulation easier for many players. This is an affordable way to upgrade the student instrument.
