This listing is for a rare antique handmade G. Gemeinhardt piccolo made in Markneukirchen, Germany. This piccolo features silver plated finish (over nickel silver) on the headjoint and keys with a grenadilla wood body. Keywork configuration is standard Boehm French-pointed with closed G# and it has a Bb trill key. This piccolo needs a repad to be in playing condition and sadly does not include a case. Silver FLUTE Handmade by PAUL KREBS 900/100 Sterling Silver Good Condition

Handmade silver flute crafted by Paul Krebs in Germany around 1970. Made of 900/100 sterling silver. Original body, foot joint and case. The head joint is not an original one. Original head joint has had lip plate made of ebonite or something similar. This head joint is from Yamaha flute, silver or silver plated. Flute has an amazing sound and original feeling, however the mechanism needs regulation and some pads should be replaced. Serial number is 72100. Body/keys has some small chips. Collector’s item, rarity. In Erlbach, where he later also worked as a journeyman (until 1939). After the war, he worked as a woodwind instrument maker at Karl Bauer’s company starting in 1948. He passed his master examination in 1951 and founded his own company in 1953. This joined the PGH Sinfonia in 1961, which became VEB Sinfonia in 1972 and later VEB B&S from 1984 onwards. In 1980, the workshops of Gust. Uebel and Paul Krebs merged to form Flötenbau Erlbach.

The Sankyo Flutes are incredible! These professional handmade flutes produce a rich, full and strong sound with stunning dynamic range. This CF 201 model is a fully handmade pro flute featuring a Handmade Sterling Silver headjoint and silver clad body. Comes with the RT-1 headjoint, featuring a specially shaped lip plate for maximum airflow into the flute. This is a incredible deal on a professional flute! We received this into our shop as a trade-in and we’ve priced to sell quickly! Condition: Perfect for someone who wants a great priced flute and doesn’t mind some cosmetic blemishes. This flute has been well cared for with minimal scratches and dings, but does show some roughness (pitting) of the silver plating on the body and keys as shown in the pictures. The previous owner had slightly acidic skin to cause this, but it’s merely cosmetic and doesn’t affect how it sounds or plays! Pads are in tact, they do appear slightly dirty from use. Refer to the pictures for more info. As with all used flutes, we highly recommend getting a COA (cleaning, oil, adjustment) maintenance service to get it playing at its best. All the notes play, but they keys need more pressure than usual to get the lower notes out. I also recommend replacing a couple of the more dirty pads for best performance. Comes with NEW custom fitted case and new case cover! Silver Handmade RT-1 Sankyo Headjoint. Silver plated body and mechanism. Feel free to reach out with any questions.

Rare Antique AE Fischer Bremen Germany Handmade Flute & Case -Like Rittershausen

This rare AE Fischer flute was handmade in Bremen Germany and I originally thought it was a Rittershausen stencil but it is not identical to a Rittershausen. This flute needs a full overhaul – keys need full disassembly, cleaning & oiling as all of the keys don’t move independently and are seized up from sitting unused for many years. The pads need to be replaced as they are very old but on a positive note the pads are held in with screws and washers! The toneholes are soldered and appear to be in good condition. This flute is made of nickel silver (aka maillechort) with lovely silver plated finish throughout. It should polish up very nicely. The mechanism is closed hole Boehm with French-pointed keywork featuring offset G, closed G#, Bb trill, D# roller and C foot. Includes original case & key with crutch (crutch needs to be resoldered back together but is complete) in good condition. Case lock does still work. Flute does not play as-is but is worthy of a full restoration. Overall length assembled: 26 15/16in (68.42cm) including crown. Embouchure hole to center of C# tonehole: 9 5/16in (23.65cm). Embouchure hole to end of foot (sounding length): 23 13/16in (604.8mm). All photos are of actual item available for sale. Additional photos available on request! Antique handmade Djalma Julliot French silvered flute, year-1940’s. The flute is not in playing condition, pads are old and need to be replaced. It need to be completely overhauled. Vintage 1958 Wm S Haynes Piccolo Golden-Age C Handmade

Hello, this is a beautiful golden-era Haynes piccolo made out of solid silver. According to Haynes it was competed on June 20, 1958. It has serial number 27804. This piccolo was recently adjusted by master NYC technician Tony Salimbene. The pads are in good shape and it was overhauled about ten years ago and not played too often after that. I have played this piccolo on several recordings which I can share with you if you’re interested. This piccolo has a beautiful and powerful tone. It comes with a Protec case.
