Used Mint Condition Pearl Pfp-105e Piccolo, 2-year Warranty

Pearl’s superb “step-up” PFP-105E piccolo features composite “grenaditte” body and head joint and heavily silver plated keys. This piccolo is a recent trade-in instrument. It was hardly used and is in absolutely mint condition. Grenaditte composite body is impervious to temperature and humidity changes with no danger of cracking and stable intonation. Heavily silver plated keys. Split E mechanism for easier response on high E. Nylon canvas case cover. Pearl polishing cloth and cleaning rod. Made in Taiwan, not in mainland China. The piccolo is USED, but it’s MINT condition. It’s perfect with no blemishes what-so-ever, and has been thoroughly checked and adjusted in our shop. Originally we were a repair shop that specialized in woodwind and sax restoration. Today we have 18 employees including eight of the finest repair technicians in the country. Heres what we do to all used flutes we sell. The instrument is taken apart and everything washed clean. Dings are next burnished from body, head and foot. After the body-shop works been completed, we swedge hinge-tubes tight again and re-fit them to the flute body. Finally, pads and corks are replaced and the instrument play-tested. Pre 1950 French flutes often require more than twice the restoration time that we need for a modern Haynes or Powell. We use thin double-skin pads of the highest quality and shim each pad in the manner of the best Boston makers. We dont float flute pads with shellac, as did the original Paris workshops. Its in addition to any factory guarantees. For two full years, we will repair or replace, whichever in our estimation is the more advisable, pads, corks, springs or other parts required, at no charge to the customer. Wichita Band Instrument Company maintains a repair department capable of restoration work of the highest quality. Even though repairs are essentially free for the first two years, after that period has expired, we remain at your service to maintain and repair your musical equipment forever. Besson D Trumpet 1955 excellent condition Baroque piccolo brass vintage London

This is an amazing little trumpet in amazing condition. I wish I knew the history of this horn, but I can tell you that it hasn’t seen any abuse it its 60+ years since being built. I bought it to play piccolo trumpet literature and I’m not sure why more people don’t play D trumpet for piccolo literature. Most of the music is in the key of D which mean you get to play everything in C on this horn! It’s amazing how liberating it feels to play Purcell, Handel, Vivaldi and other Baroque pieces on this horn rather than on the Picc. I was actually looking for a good D trumpet for a long time before finding this horn. I was astonished to find a horn that played this well in such great condition. It really looks like it sat on a shelf or in a dry closet for most if not all of it’s life before I bought it. The case is also evidence to this. I would almost call it a time capsule from the 50’s. The case even has the original keys! All the slides and valves work flawlessly. The valves are yet another sign of the amazing original condition of this horn. My work has transitioned a bit over the past few years and I’m not gigging as much as I used to. I realized that I didn’t play a single wedding the past year and it no longer makes sense for me to hang on to this horn. If I were looking to get back into playing Baroque music for weddings etc, I would definitely seek out this horn rather than another piccolo. You would be hard pressed to find anther one is such great shape. I’ll try to upload a video of me playing the horn if I can figure out how to do that!
