PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: This listing is for a Yamaha SD-493 14″ X 3.5″ Brass Piccolo Snare Drum w/ Custom Piezo Trigger. Serial Number: PK-0055 (April 1989). Shell Thickness: 1.2mm. Hoops: Steel, Triple Flange Power Hoop. Lugs: Chrome, Single High-Tension. Number of Lugs: 10. Snare Wires: Pearl 20-Strand 2 Snare Wires. Custom Piezo Contact Mic/Trigger is installed on the inside of the shell by the strainer throw-off and wired to a 1/4 Unbalanced Jack mounted in the side-wall of the shell. ACCESSORIES INCLUDED: This item comes as seen in photos, and does not include any accessories. PHYSICAL CONDITION: Good – The snare is structurally strong and stable with light surface scratches throughout the hoops, shell, and other hardware. The lugs show a little more wear than the hoops and shell, with some oxidation forming on the wear spots and scratches. The top/batter head is missing, as are 4 of the 10 tension screws. The original snare wires have been replaced with Pearl 20-Strand wires which are in very good condition. Despite some missing parts, the drum is in good physical condition. WORKING CONDITION: Very Good – All of the parts currently on the drum work great. Without the Top/Batter Drum Head, we could not fully test the drum, however, all of the tensions screws, snare strainer/throw-off, snare wires, Piezo Trigger, etc. Are fully working without any issues. Overall, it is in very good working condition. UNPACKAGED WEIGHT: 8.7 lbs. UNPACKAGED DIMENSIONS: 18.5″ x 5″ x 16.
