Vintage French Wood Piccolo in key of C

Boehm System Piccolo with open-hole ring style mechanism. Wood appears to be grenadilla with Maillechort (Nickel-Silver) key work. Instrument is stamped by Le Comte, though it could be a stencil from another maker. There is no serial number. Instrument recently had complete overhaul and replacement of pads; though an adjustment after piccolo adjusts to humidity in its new home would probably be beneficial. Crack repair was made to head (see photos) and a handcrafted replacement of headjoint crown and ring was also made. Tuning length (center of embouchure to end of piccolo when fully assembled) is approximately 270 mm (10 9/16), and appears pitched around 438. Comes in non-original case. Vintage 60’s Schuco Piccolo MAN Oldtimer Omnibus MINT AND BOXED RARITY. A beautiful collection comprising toys made in Germany, or toys made elsewhere but representing German automobiles. Pre-War 1930s to 1960’s, small to large scales, tinplate, plastic and diecast models with something to entice everyone! The cars represent Vw Volkswagen Split, Oval and Square Window Beetle Käfer, Ghia, and Bus, as well as BMW, Taunus, Audi DKW, Ford, and MAN. The toy manufacturers include Bandai and Tsubame AHI of Japan, CKO Kellermann, Märklin, Wiking, Schuco, Rex Juwel and Siku of Germany, Jibby of Switzerland, and Cragstan Telsalda, Blue Box, and Playart Peelers of Hong Kong to round out the offerings. I have enjoyed them as a part of my personal 35 year collection, and now they are available to add to your collection! Very rare to find this bus in this untouched mint condition. This awesome little diecast measures 3 inches long, 1:90 scale. Super detail with cream and blue upper deck, red lower body, gold and black detailed front grill with MAN embossed. Intact decals throughout, steering wheel, rubber tires. Looks like old shop stock, bright and clean. The original box is in excellent complete condition, with very little edge or age wear. Rare rosewood piccolo with a deep, boomy crack that is unmistakable. The die cast hoops have pitting, but the shell is in excellent condition. PureSound wires, newer heads. This is a rare vintage drum that sounds incredible and has a wide tuning spectrum. There is some confusion about the history of the angled lugs. There are those who insist it’s a design flaw, the lugs “twist” as a result of tightening the. There are others who call those people crazy and say that’s the way the drum was designed. I have no idea either way. Regardless, it’s a beautiful drum with no issues tuning any of the tension rods and it sounds killer. Vintage Premier Piccolo Snare Drum 14 x 4

Vintage Premier Piccolo Snare Drum. According to unverified sources, this drum is either chrome over brass, chrome over copper or chrome over aluminum. This is a very nice drum that could be late 60’s or 70’s. I bought it used in the late’80’s. It has die cast hoops and an internal strainer mechanism that keeps the snares taut all the time. The snare head is the original Premier, the batter head is a Remo Ambassador with some use, though still in good condition. I would have replaced it with a new head, but every drummer has their particular preference. Here is a brief video demo of this drum. Be sure to listen through headphones or quality speakers. Offered is a Vintage Gemeinhardt 4PMH Piccolo, including Original Hard Case, Serial #87544. 12.5 long, when assembled… I see no missing or loose parts, seems to be complete, not sure if in working condition?? Only noted mentions are, it appears to be silver plated which is mostly in very good condition, with some tarnishing on one area… Also, the previous owner inscribed their info in the area under the serial number, then scuffed through it… This is in original hard case, which is also in good condition, measures 9.5″ long x 3″ wide… Outside is very good, latches both work as they should, inside plush liner intact, with some discoloration. Caused from what, I’m not sure, and didn’t seem to cause any damage the instrument, other than some tarnishing in one area, which I mentioned above…. Please see photos, I tried to show any mentions, this is the actual item you will receive. VINTAGE CUSTOM VANTAGE 80s SHORTSCALE PICCOLO BASS DIMARZIO RARE MIJ COLLECTIBLE

VINTAGE CUSTOM VANTAGE 80s SHORT SCALE 25 PICCOLO BASS DIMARZIO BAG MIJ COLLECTIBLE. Lots of small dings all over body – have been touched up. Gig bag has seen better days, but still protects it. I prefer wound to plain strings and have used a guitar sting for the “G” string with a bass ball end to hold it at the bridge. Piccolo bass is for the bass player who adventures to play some solo leads without having to learn the guitar; Great for over-dubbing with your standard bass parts. It plays and sounds great; a fun bass that sounds like a guitar! It is fun to crank it through a distortion box. The neck is slim, and has a great feel to it. The finish is a natural where you can see through to the beautiful wood grain. It is a great looking as well as sounding bass. The action on this instrument is very low and comfortable, and the pickups have high output which sound pretty awesome. The tuning is EADG one octave above a regular 4 string bass. Here’s a tune I recorded playing lead bass on a piccolo. Notice that what sounds like rhythm guitar and finger picked notes are actually chords played on the Piccolo bass. What a great way to cheat! Sounds like the guitar, but I did not have to learn how to play guitar, and I played it all with my fingers because I did not have to use a pick to get to the strings!
