PEARL Free Floating Piccolo Snare Drum. 14 x 3.5 Maple Shell – Natural Finish. Made in Taiwan – Gibraltar Extended Wires. PLEASE READ THE FULL DESCRIPTION!! Grading Scale for USED Drums. Drums that are UNUSED (NOS / AAA+++) will be listed as NEW OTHER. Mint (A+) – Perfectly functional, with no noticeable cosmetic flaws, but still used. EXL = Excellent (A) – Perfectly functional, but with only some very light cosmetic flaws. G/VG = Good/Very Good (B/B+) – 1 Slight functional issue &/or light cosmetic flaws. Poor/Fair (C/C+) – Slight Functional Issues &/or significant cosmetic flaws (pitting/rust). Damaged (D) – Major Functional Issues (parts not working) & major cosmetic flaws. NOTE: Minus sign (-) next to a grade means the Drum is missing irreplaceable original parts (Hoops, Strainer / Butt, Lugs). This does not include easily replaceable parts (Tension Rods, snare wires, drum heads). Drums that are NON-FUNCTIONAL (F) will be listed as For Parts or Not Working. GRADE: Very Good (B+). This snare drum receives a Grade of B+. It is in very good condition, with no functional damage, and only light cosmetic issues. The only parts that have been replaced are the drumheads and the extended snare wires. DETAILED DESCRIPTION – Part by Part. Free Floating Maple Shell – 14 x 3.5. Maple shell is actually shorter than 3.5, in order to compensate for the free floater frame. The Shell is in excellent condition, with no noticeable damage to the wood or the finish. No holes have been drilled through the shell! The only thing that is screwed onto the shell is the badge, with four small screws that do not go all the way through the shells. Free Floating Shell Frame for 3.5 Snare Drum. The Frame is complete and in excellent condition, with no damage and very little wear. PEARL Maple Shell Badge – 208615. Made in Taiwan. The Badge is in very good condition, with all four screws, but it does have one noticeable scratch above the a in the Pearl logo. There is NO Air Vent! (x10) Lugs for 3.5 Free Floating Frame. The Lugs are all complete and in excellent condition, with no damage and very little wear. Strainer System – Throw-Off & Butt. SR-010 Strainer – Adjustable Throw-Off & Butt. The Strainer System is complete and fully functional. It is adjustable from both ends, and both of the knobs are functional. Die Cast Zinc Hoops – w/ Drop Gates. The Hoops are in excellent condition with no functional damage. However, they are missing the MasterCast stickers. There is also some light pitting and scratches in a few spots. All of the Tension Rods appear to be original. They are used, but have no thread damage. GIBRALTAR 14 20-Strand Extended Wires. The snare wires are brand-new replacements, and are a perfect fit for the Free Floaters.
