Up for sale is a beautiful F. Besson / Kanstul Bb / A piccolo 4-valve piccolo trumpet in lacquer. This is the model which Zig Kanstul designed for Besson and later served as the basis for his own ZKT-920 picc which is almost identical. The horn has one piece hammered 3 7/8 bell. 460 bore and plays extremely well. Intonation is spot on and the tone can be both dark or bright depending on what you choose. All valves and slides work perfectly. Intonation ring on the third slide and water key on the 4th slide. The lacquer is about 97 %, there is some lacquer loss on the leadpipe and the bell; 3 small dings on the bell which do not affect playability and can be easily fixed if needed. Two leadpipes with trumpet shank included for A and Bb. I can add a Blackburn A leadpipe for an extra 150 USD. Located in the EU. The item “F.
