Century wooden piccolo in B. This instrument is in good condition, apart from the missing crown, and in full playing order. There is a neat crack repair to the head, which is sound, and a natural inclusion to the rear of the head (see photos 2 & 3). This instrument plays at A = 440 Hz in B natural, with a sweet, clear voice. It is marked on the head and body J. (see photo 8), dating this piccolo to the late 19th.
