Ludwig LRS313EC Rocker Elite 3×13 Piccolo Snare Drum
If your looking for a snare drum that has a nice tight crack this snare is for you. Here are the specifications to this snare. Shell- All maple 3×13 shell w/. 45 degree bearing edges. No signs of plies coming apart. Lugs (8) lugs in good condition with no signs of stress cracks. Very light chrome pitting on the side of the lugs. Throw off and butt plate- All original in good condition. Throw off strainer goes on and off smoothly with no issues. This throw off and butt plate is the better version than the newer ones that are coming out of China. The older version throw off has a thicker gauge steel than the newer version in which i have compared with newer ones. The butt plate is also in good condition with no stripped threads. Top head – Original Ludwig weather master coated heavy. Head is in fair condition with stick marks and small dents in certain areas. Bottom head- original ludwig snare side in fair to good condition. No punctures but maybe one small dent and scratches through out the head. Snare wires- Ludwig original 13 inch 20 strand in good condition with no creases on each snare wire. No missing snare wires. Top and bottom hoop- 13 8 hole hoop 2.3mm hoop in fair condition. Top and bottom hoops had some rust build up but i managed to get all the rust off and use some steel wool to polish up the hoop as much as i can. There is some areas of slight chrome pitting on top and bottom. Tension rods – all original and in good working condition with no signs of stripped threads. I wire brushed most of the tension. Rods cause i noticed some rust build up on the square head of the tension rod. Internal muffler- in good working condition. Muffler goes on and off smoothly.
