This is a REMARKABLE Martin piccolo trumpet prototype. This appears to be a factory prototype-I have found no indication that this model was ever put into production but it is a very cool horn! The bell is a yellow brass bell throat with a rose brass bell flare. Valves are built on a Martin Deluxe two piece valve casing, and it includes the custom Martin mouthpiece. Very open with very little resistance. Intonation is quite good and the valves are excellent. Pics tell the rest of the story!
