Vintage Premier Piccolo Snare Drum 14 x 4
Vintage Premier Piccolo Snare Drum. According to unverified sources, this drum is either chrome over brass, chrome over copper or chrome over aluminum. This is a very nice drum that could be late 60’s or 70’s. I bought it used in the late’80’s. It has die cast hoops and an internal strainer mechanism that keeps the snares taut all the time. The snare head is the original Premier, the batter head is a Remo Ambassador with some use, though still in good condition. I would have replaced it with a new head, but every drummer has their particular preference. Here is a brief video demo of this drum. Be sure to listen through headphones or quality speakers.
