Used Piccolo

Letting a few rare gems go. Japanese drum building and design at its very best. The vintage Yamaha brass piccolos are legendary. This Garibaldi spin on the 80s classic is no exception. Made as much popular by Questlove, as by the Man himself. But, you know that already. This is a very rare, early example of this coveted drum – square badge #159. The plain square badge is the original run, while the more ornate rectangular badge is a later production. The drum is completely factory original, except for the Aquarian batter head. This snare drum is in very good used condition. Absolutely no issues of concern with this fine instrument. Strainer and adjustable butt function smoothly and heads tune up with ease. Drum is used, but still looks great! Scrutinizer Note: Upon close inspection, youll find a few scratches and nicks on the blue shell and marks/scratches on the badge and chrome. Brass badge has a few oxidation marks along its perimeter. Chrome and brass badge still shine and blue finished shell gleams. Both heads are used and show it – tiny dent in the middle of the Yamaha branded resonant head. Too, the original Yamaha 20 strand steel wires lay flat when strainer is engaged.
