PEARL Free Floating Piccolo Snare Drum. 14 x 3.5 Maple Shell – Natural Finish. Made in Taiwan – Gibraltar Extended Wires. PLEASE READ THE FULL DESCRIPTION!! Grading Scale for USED Drums. Drums that are UNUSED (NOS / AAA+++) will be listed as NEW OTHER. Mint (A+) – Perfectly functional, with no noticeable cosmetic flaws, but still used. EXL = Excellent (A) – Perfectly functional, but with only some very light cosmetic flaws. G/VG = Good/Very Good (B/B+) – 1 Slight functional issue &/or light cosmetic flaws. Poor/Fair (C/C+) – Slight Functional Issues &/or significant cosmetic flaws (pitting/rust). Damaged (D) – Major Functional Issues (parts not working) & major cosmetic flaws. NOTE: Minus sign (-) next to a grade means the Drum is missing irreplaceable original parts (Hoops, Strainer / Butt, Lugs). This does not include easily replaceable parts (Tension Rods, snare wires, drum heads). Drums that are NON-FUNCTIONAL (F) will be listed as For Parts or Not Working. GRADE: Very Good (B+). The only parts that have been replaced are the drumheads and the extended snare wires. DETAILED DESCRIPTION – Part by Part. Free Floating Maple Shell – 14 x 3.5. Maple shell is actually shorter than 3.5, in order to compensate for the free floater frame. The Shell is in excellent condition, with no noticeable damage to the wood or the finish. No holes have been drilled through the shell! The only thing that is screwed onto the shell is the badge, with four small screws that do not go all the way through the shells. Free Floating Shell Frame for 3.5 Snare Drum. The Frame is complete and in excellent condition, with no damage and very little wear. PEARL Maple Shell Badge – 208615. Made in Taiwan. The Badge is in very good condition, with all four screws, but it does have one noticeable scratch above the a in the Pearl logo. There is NO Air Vent! (x10) Lugs for 3.5 Free Floating Frame. The Lugs are all complete and in excellent condition, with no damage and very little wear. Strainer System – Throw-Off & Butt. SR-010 Strainer – Adjustable Throw-Off & Butt. The Strainer System is complete and fully functional. It is adjustable from both ends, and both of the knobs are functional. Die Cast Zinc Hoops – w/ Drop Gates. The Hoops are in excellent condition with no functional damage. However, they are missing the MasterCast stickers. There is also some light pitting and scratches in a few spots. All of the Tension Rods appear to be original. They are used, but have no thread damage. GIBRALTAR 14 20-Strand Extended Wires. The snare wires are brand-new replacements, and are a perfect fit for the Free Floaters. If we agree upon a reasonable offer / price beforehand, I can change the price of the listing to the price we agreed on. Ludwig 14 x 3 RARE COS Piccolo Snare Drum with 12 Lug Design Excellent

Ludwig 14″ x 3″ Chrome over Steel Shell Piccolo Snare Drum. This snare sounds great! It is very crisp due to it’s Ludwig Cast Rims. The most amazing feature on this snare is the 12 Lug design, allowing this drum to have an incredible tuning range from low to ultra high, with a higher tuning range capable from most other snare drums. This is the first 12 Lug metal snare that I have seen myself personally. It has a very smooth feel when twisting the tension rods while tuning. This drum performs very well, clear and articulate sound with very sensitive attack, only the slightest touch can be easily heard. It is also capable of loud volume like a marching snare drum which makes this drum extremely versatile for many genre’s of music such as Jazz, Blues, / Punk, Metal, Rock -you name it, this drum delivers! This drum has fast response with diminished overtones because of it’s extremely shallow depth of 3 -not a lot of ring after the initial note, great fast playing drum! This snare drum has two vents and two Ludwig Chicago Badges 180 a part. The drum shows no signs of abuse. I don’t see many scratches around the drum on inspection. It looks and plays very well!
