Armstrong Piccolo Model 290 Sterling Silver Superb Gold Gild Grade A

Armstrong model 290 with sterling silver headjoint and body tube. Pads are EXCELLENT condition. The keys are not flaking or scratched. 1 MINISCULE gouge in the headjoint. It appears it was gilded in gold on the joints and the keys. Though it has been rubbed off of the keys about 95%. It appears to have protected the keys though so they are in nice smooth condition. It is rare to find a nice sterling piccolo in playable condition. Comes with solid case. This instrument is a little higher cost than others but you will spend the same amount once you start paying for repairs or spending time learning to repair it yourself.

Armstrong Model 80 Flute With B Foot, Sterling Silver Head & Body Vintage

Vintage Armstrong Model 80 Open Holed Concert Flute with B Foot. This flute is from 1974. This flute was played for only a few years and has been stored in a closet ever since. The flute has a Sterling Silver Body and Head. Comes with original hard case and an extra padded case. The flute is in nice shape with a few minor blemishes and signs of wear/tarnish as I tried to show in the photos. Please look at the photos carefully. All pads and corks are here, but some may need replacing due to age. From a smoke free home.

Gemeinhardt Model 4W Wood and Silver Piccolo

This is a Gemeinhardt wooden piccolo. It belonged to my dad who recently passed away. He was a professional musician for over 75 years and I recall him purchasing this piccolo when I was a child. It has a lovely sound and Dad generously loaned to several people in his flute group who enjoyed playing it. I therefore will not accept low ball offers. The Serial Number is 4647. Because the keys are so shiny, it’s hard to get good photos without reflects of this or that. I hope these photos are clear enough to show you how nice its finish is. Yamaha Flute 225SII Student Model Needs work

Up for sale, is a Yamaha flute model 225SII made in Japan. This instrument doescome with a case but case shows lots of signs of wear. This does not come with accessories. This is broken as pictured. Cosmetically this flute has signs of age and wear from normal use. Please note: Pads, corks, rubber stoppers and adjustments might be needed. Product Information Brand: CarolBrass Piccolo Trumpet. Bore: 0.450 (Medium). Length W/O Mp 13 1/2 (with cornet Bb pipe in). Mouthpieces (2): CarolBrass 11 Ax cornet and trumpet mouthpieces. Case: Original CarolBrass Piccolo Trumpet Case. EXTRAS: Extra complete set of heavy top and bottom caps and finger buttons. 4 leadpipes Bb and A Cornet Pipes and Bb and A Trumpet pipes. Special case included to store tuning pipes. CAROLBRASS Bb/A Piccolo TRUMPET. NEW CB CASE, and 2 PICCOLO MOUTHPIECES. I play trumpet and cornet with a municipal brass band still. I have played Piccolo trumpet since 1973, and have several, and although I play Eb cornet in one of the bands I participate in. Recently, due to family needs and obligations, I will be cutting back on my performing and plan to sell my large collection of horns. Keep me in mind for the near future if you are looking for American horns. My little devil is not included! I picked up a new CarolBrass pic trumpet like this in 2022, except it was copperplated and lacquered. Several of my friends couldn’t put it down, so I ordered a couple more one in copper and one in silver last fall. I did check it out and lubed the valves but the slides never got untied and none of the accessories were romoved from packing. I still have my old Stomvi, in case the piccolo bug comes back to bite me, but I need to sell this. I have noticed these CB pics are very popular with guys who play Bb almost exclusively. This instrument is in new, unused condition. The 2 11Ax mouthpieces (1 cornet, 1 trumpet shank) included are unopened in the boxes. I have collected, repaired, and played trumpets for over 48 years. As a knowledgeable and experienced amateur, I have a lower cost of operation than a commercial enterprise, and can keep my costs low. I have thoroughly inspected this instrument, replaced the felts and corks and aligned the valves as needed, and made sure that it plays properly, and has proper tone for your beginner. I have cleaned the instrument thoroughly, polished all slides to prevent corrosion from locking the slides and valves, and properly lubricated the instrument with high quality lubricant. Many teachers do have preferences, and this can affect a student’s progress. I will, however, flatly state that many of the “bargain basement” new instruments from the unknown manufacturers (even when they are branded, you may not know who made them) are inferior. Parts for repair, or even the repairs themselves are not available, due to odd pieces, or inferior materials. Internal dimensions and correct alloys are critical on all musical instruments. A shiny (or odd colored) instrument with inferior playing qualities will soon discourage even the most eager student. THIS DESCRIPTION IS AS ACCURATE AS POSSIBLE.
