This fantastic tiny, vintage, scale model of a Volvo PV544 was issued by the Schuco Toy Company of Nurnberg, Germany in 1958. It stayed in the range for only 5 years as the production was already halted in 1963. This makes survivors, like this example, rare models. It comes in a great, contemporary, shade of “Apple green” but is in clearly “played with” condition. 1/90 (Schuco never specified an exact scale). Length: 50 mm / 1.9 inch. Please note that the ruler in the picture is in centimeters. The photos are of course of the actual “car” up for sale here so What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get. It is the only one that I have of this particular model and it is an absolute must-have for any Volvo fan!
