This Piccolo is in very good condition for its age. There are minor marks of normal wear, but no major damage. It is easy to play, even without all the gadgets on the newer models. It has a good, clear tone, which is more mellow than a metal piccolo. It can be used outdoors without fear of warping. The metal headjoint gives the instrument versatility, as it brightens the tone when needed. Great for students who play in both marching and concert band.
