Vintage Ludwig Piccolo Snare Drum Black 13 x 3 Old Gold Badge Is It 405 Good

For sale is a classy vintage Ludwig Piccolo Snare Drum. This is a 13 X 3 snare drum with the gold badge. It looks to have the same hardware as the 405, but the shell appears to me to be wood rather than metal. I do not see any of the ornate shell designs you might see on the Black Beauty. As such, I have had a hard time precisely identifying it, so you will have to check out the many pictures to make your best determination. Feel free to send questions. You can see that there is surface rust in spots. The hardware appears to be original. I want both us to come out winners here. All of these items are from a smoke-free home. For sale is my first interment – an Armstrong 210 Piccolo which is features a cylindrical Sterling Silver head joint with 24 carat gold plated lip plate and head joint, crown, keys, and rods. The springs are made of Beryllium. The solid sterling silver headjoint with gold plating responds better and sounds sweeter than a silver-plated or base metal one. Yamaha YTR 6810 4-Valve Piccolo Trumpet – Gold Brass Lacquer finish. It’s in very good condition, supplied with original Yamaha case, Yamaha 11A mouthpiece and both Bb and A leadpipes. Details copied from the Yamaha Web Site.. Piccolo trumpets are primarily used to play the exciting, yet demanding, 1st trumpet parts in Baroque literature. The 6810 features a small bore and bell size for superb tonal clarity and projection. It is easy to play, has a beautiful tone, and excellent intonation. They are converted to either Bb or A by changing the leadpipes provided. A fourth valve adds an extended range. Corrision proof and long-lasting. Exceptional tone and response. Hand-lapped valves and slides. Precise fit and smooth air flow. Unbraced inner outer tuning slide. Comfortably open with less resistance. One-piece drawn gold brass lead-pipe. Excellent intonation and response, proper resistance. One piece Yellow brass. Small 10.50mm (0.413). This is a used instrument but has only been played occasionally. There are some minor cosmetic blemishes to the gold lacquer, through normal usage where my hands are positioned on the instrument and a small scratch on the 1st valve casing (please see photographs). All the valve pistons are near pristine condition with a smooth and responsive action. I have included a Yamaha 11A mouthpiece which has seen better days, but is functional (see photographs). I did not see any dents or dings on the instrument. The gold finish is in excellent condition. All of the tuning slides move freely. The valves are in great condition – compression is “like new”. The Trumpet is very clean and will not require any servicing – it is ready to play! You will not find another P5-4 in better condition – it looks like it was bought brand new and barely played. I see no issues with it – it is in Mint Condition! This Trumpet plays great! The tone/color is rich yet clear and resonant. Response and intonation are excellent. A non-original Bb Trumpet hard case is included and is in near new condition. The instrument fits in the case decently and protects it.
