C Pomarico crystal E-flat (piccolo) clarinet mouthpiece, 2 lay, in original plastic box. I bought this mouthpiece as a spare for the Pomarico crystal mouthpiece I was using on E-flat clarinet, but I play E-flat clarinet so rarely nowadays that I’ve decided a spare is an unnecessary luxury! It is in beautiful condition. The tip, rails and table are all pristine and it’s extremely clean. You can tell it’s been used as the cork contains old grease in the pores and the brass tenon ring isn’t shiny, but it’s certainly hardly been played in the last 15 or 20 years – I only tested it and decided to stick with my existing Pomarico piece. It plays beautifully with that clear bright sound that comes out over the whole orchestra when needed, but will also blend with the rest of the clarinet section if appropriate. I have no clue why the box has “5RV” scrawled on it – perhaps that was what some previous owner thought would be the Vandoren equivalent? In any case, it was there when I bought this mouthpiece.
