CUSTOM NECKTHRU WISHBASS PICCOLO BASS with EMG JAZZ PICKUP &FREE CASE MADE IN USA
This is a great 4 string WISHBASS Piccolo bass for the bass player who adventures to play some solo leads without having to learn the guitar; Great for over-dubbing with your standard bass parts. The neck is straight, the action is low, and the fingerboard has jumbo frets. It plays and sounds great; a fun bass that sounds like a guitar! It is fun to crank it through a distortion box. The Neck through body is finished in natural so you can see through to the beautiful wood grains. All of the hardware is chrome. It is a great looking as well as sounding bass. The tuning is EADG one octave above a regular 4 string bass. Here’s a tune I recorded playing lead bass on a piccolo. Notice that what sounds like rhythm guitar and finger picked notes are actually chords played on the Piccolo bass. What a great way to cheat! Sounds like the guitar, but I did not have to learn how to play guitar, and I played it all with my fingers because I did not have to use a pick to get to the strings! It has a’wave’ or’reform’ shape, giving a more immediate response, and makes articulation easier for many players. This is an affordable way to upgrade the student instrument. This is a great “ergonomic arm rest scoop” Dean 4 string Piccolo bass in a. There are 24 frets for a complete two-octave neck, and fingerboard is rosewood with bird inlays like a PRS. The neck is very slim, and has a great feel to it. All of the hardware is chrome.
