1990s Remo 13 inch Piccolo snare drum with Acousticon 516 shell and new Remo Emporer smooth white batter. Snare on these is adjustable for tightness on BOTH ends. Condition is good, minor scratches and dings and slight corrosion on the rims but solid with a very good sound. Remo used the Acousticon 516 shell, a 5/16-inch thick version of their proprietary wood-fiber material, primarily during the early-to-mid 1990s. This shell was a significant upgrade from the earlier, thinner Acousticon SE shells, offering better stability and stronger bearing edges.
