For sale I have an INCREDIBLE Original 1971 Henri SELMER PARIS Bb/A Piccolo Trumpet. Model 703 – Key: Bb/A – 4 Valves – 10.56 mm /. 3.5-inch bell diameter – Serial 51182. Silver plated finish. The famous Selmer Paris Bb/A Piccolo trumpet as played by the legendary Maurice André. The most famous and most admired piccolo trumpet player of all time. A superb playing piccolo with excellent response, intonation and a full, bright piccolo sound that really sings in the upper register. This instrument shows the quality of horns Selmer used to make. 47 years old and in superb condition. Serial number 51182 is stamped on the valve casing and both valve stems & caps are numbered 1,2,3,4. Marbled pearl finger buttons. Beautiful silver plate and superb valves and slides. Other than one small dink near the bell crook this trumpet is in great condition. Comes with the original Henri Selmer hard case and mouth pipes in keys of Bb & A. The case has seen better days and there is damage to one of the hinges, but piccolo trumpets dont come much better than this one and at a fraction of current production line models!
