Used Piccolo

Here is a matching Bettoney flute & piccolo set. Both instruments are handmade made of grenadilla with sterling silver keys and gold springs. A few of the springs on the piccolo have been replaced with blued steel. The flute is in the key of C pitched at A-440hz while the piccolo is in the key of Db at A-440hz. The flute is in better condition than the piccolo so we have priced this set accordingly. The flute has three cracks on the headjoint (one obvious and two hairlines) and one on the body near the D tonehole (can be seen inside the bore but not from above). The piccolo has a few cracks that were pinned but have since opened up. We’d suggest unpinning the piccolo, properly cleaning the cracks and repinning. The Bettoney flute includes original case in overall good condition. The piccolo does not have a case. The flute will need less work than the piccolo.
