Up for sale is my 4 key Cocus Bb. Piccolo made by Henry Potter of London (1859-95). Stylistically, it appears to be an early example of this maker’s work. Made from quality hardwood, and Nickel Silver keys, this lovely instrument is in full playing order, easy to play at 455 Hz. And has a surprisingly powerful rounded voice. There are a few historic crack repairs to head and ring (see photos 2-4) which are sound. Other than this, the piccolo is in very good overall shape. Stamped with a B. And then (Unicorn) “POTTER LONDON” on the head, and (Unicorn) HENRY POTTER. B on the body.
