Kanstul made Besson Piccolo Trumpet

Pristine condition 4-valve Kanstul-made Besson piccolo trumpet (ser# 36684) with A/B-flat lead pipes, horn stand and ProTec hard case. Lead pipes take a cornet mouth piece. Kanstul confirms this is an MP60 piccolo (similar to the Kanstul Model 920) with a 460 bore big sound! Again: no mouth piece provided. Kanstul has had a very long association with the F. Besson name, having built instruments for the parent company (Boosey & Hawkes, Buffet Crampon) since the 1980’s. This very well-preserved Selmer Piccolo trumpet plays exceptionally well. It is made of brass with a lacquer finish and it does have some places where the lacquer is worn. It has great valve compression and is ready to play. Both the A and Bb lead pipes are included. Maurice Andre played this model of piccolo trumpet for many years. The original case is included, which is in excellent condition and both catches close fine. The Selmer piccolo uses trumpet shank mouthpieces and it comes with a new silver plated 7c trumpet mouthpiece.
