It is in exceptional condition: plating about 99.9% with little if any wear at all-and you’d have to look pretty hard and pretty long to find even the tiniest ding or scratch. It is, quite simply, gorgeous. All tuning slides are free, valves are fast and smooth and quiet with very little wear at all. Just through the shop where it was chem cleaned, detergent cleaned, lubed, and polished. Amado water keys for greatly decreased resistance and improved response. A great, pro piccolo without spending more than two grand on a Yamaha or Kanstul, though we have those as well! Near-perfect condition with only the very fewest and very tiniest imperfections. Valves and slides are in excellent condition, except the fourth-valve slide which is stuck, and I dont want to mess it up trying to free it. This could probably be done easily at your local shop if you ever use it. Compression excellent, valves are fast and quiet. Plays great, after you get used to blowing a tiny horn! Both lead pips included with the standard cornet receiver, though Yamaha does make a set for this horn which take trumpet shanks. And we have lots of cornet mouthpieces for sale! Currently on backorder pretty much everywhere. An amazing horn in amazing condition at hundreds less than brand new, and just in time for Christmas! This Piccolo trumpet is in new condition, It was literally played three times. It is flawless in every way, no scratches, no dents, just pristine. It comes with B-flat and A pipes (cornet shank) and case. It has had a recent chemical bath and checked out by Mike Paulson Brass Masters in Seattle and has gotten the seal of approval. The horn has excellent intonation, easy blowing and a full rich penetrating sound. Personally I think that this Pic is easier to play then a Schilke or Yamaha. Just in time for Easter gigs!
