Springs adjusted for comfortable, responsive tension. Condition: The flute plays well and has been fully tested. Cosmetically, it shows normal wear and tear consistent with the age of the instrument. There is one small dent on the headjoint (clearly shown in photos), which does not affect playability. This instrument is ready to play right out of the case. This 1913 York flute with its original case needs cleaning. It doesn’t play; I don’t know its functionality. A piece over 110 years old. York was a well-known American brand of wind instruments in the early 20th century, manufactured by J. York & Sons in Grand Rapids, USA.
