Comes from the time right after the move to Elkhart and used the same cutters and blanks so most acknowledge that these are identical to Mt Vernons, just without the name! ….. Born Vincent Shrotenbach in Vienna in 1890, he initially received training on violin, but subsequently switched to trumpet when he heard its majestic sound. While performing under the stage name, Vincent Bach, he established musical success as he toured throughout Europe. World War I forced Vincents move to New York City where shortly after in 1918, Vincent went into the business of making mouthpieces and by1924, the first Bach trumpets were produced. Musicians frequently referred to a Bach trumpet as a real Stradivarius, thus inspiring the name Bach Stradivarius. Today, these instruments continue to embody the highest standards of craftsmanship and adhere to Vincents original designs and blueprints. Bach piccolo trumpets are very rare and collectible, and this is great value so dont miss out! This is a professional G piccolo trumpet in excellent condition. The lacquer is in great condition with no signs of any major wear with only one minor ding on the bell and some scuffs that do not effect playability! It is in exceptional condition: Cosmetically almost perfect, with one tiny pin-prick on the left side of the bell as seen in the photos. No signs of dent removal or repair. Valves are fast and smooth with very little wear at all. All tuning slides free and show very good compression on insertion. Just chem cleaned, lubed and polished. Both Bb and A leadpipes included, as is a polishing cloth and mouthpiece/tuning slide/valve brush. Also included are two Schilke mouthpieces in good condition with just minor wear: a 13A4A and a 14A4A, the latter still having the same shallow cup and narrow throat for the brilliant piccolo sound, but with a bit larger cup diameter for increased power. Comes in the original hard case in excellent condition. A great little picc in great condition to fill the extra space in your trumpet players triple case, and just in time for Christmas! The detachable bell is in pristine condition with perfect lacquer – valve section has light wear on holding pipe and very small ding on the 3rd valve out pipe which does not affect playability.
