The Classic Goosman Butterfly All-Sterling Flute Headjoint is noted for its big, clean sound and amazing responsiveness. The tube is hand-burnished. The embouchure wall and lip plate cast as a single piece of metal resulting in a lip plate that is heavier than traditionally configured lip plates. This extra weight has a big benefit in the way the tube vibrates. This headjoint was recommended to me by the late great Dave Edwards years ago, for it’s a doubler’s delight. These are hard to come by and highly sought-after. This one is in mint condition.
