For your kind consideration is this Premier 4×14 model 2034 brass piccolo snare drum from the early 90s. It’s in very good condition overall with some vibey oxidation on the lacquered brass exterior and sounds great. The original triple flange hoops are in round with some normal aging and wear as shown. The parallel snare strainer is fully operational and has the original wires installed. There are no extra holes or modifications. Most importantly, it tunes up well and sounds terrific. It’s crisp and pleasantly bright and responds quickly and speaks easily.

Early 1960s Premier 4×14 COB Brass Royal Ace Piccolo Snare Drum CLEAN. Super clean hard to find snare drum. A couple very minor things to mention but overall just a very clean and collectible example. Throw off appears to be missing one screw and one could be a replacement as the head is slightly different than the butt side screws. Does not affect functionality whatsoever. One small dimple in the shell above the butt end and a small scratch to the lower left of the badge (see pics). Heads could possibly be originalIm not sure what came on these originally but these look old but very lightly played. Some marks on bottom hoops from metal on metal contact from the basket holding the drum but beside these minor issues the drum is just gleaming clean and all original. Even the tension rod washers are all there. Felt on the muffler is in perfect condition. Amazing interior in general leading me to believe the heads hadent been changed before. A very collectible and hard to find drum in overall amazing condition and it sounds incredible. This is a vintage’60s Ludwig “Downbeat” model snare drum. Original black diamond pearl finish. 4×14 with eight lugs. Baseball bat tone control. Chrome over brass rims. The heads fit without forcing them on. The only real flaw is the seam that needs to be glued down. New batter head and wires. Great piece of vintage drum history.
