The Classic Goosman Butterfly All-Sterling Flute Headjoint is noted for its big, clean sound and amazing responsiveness. The tube is hand-burnished. The embouchure wall and lip plate cast as a single piece of metal resulting in a lip plate that is heavier than traditionally configured lip plates. This extra weight has a big benefit in the way the tube vibrates. This headjoint was recommended to me by the late great Dave Edwards years ago, for it’s a doubler’s delight. These are hard to come by and highly sought-after. This one is in mint condition.

Vintage Bundy Plastic Piccolo in excellent playing condition. Made in the USA. Plastic body and headjoint Silver-plated keywork Second silver-plated headjoint included, not original to the instrument, but fitted to it Conical bore Head cork and pads replaced as needed to ensure good playing condition Comes in original plastic case, in good condition (some mild discoration of the velveteen lining) Includes tuning/cleaning rod Also comes with a new Sedona zippered case cover with an outside pocket to store the extra headjoint. This Piccolo is in very good condition for its age. There are minor marks of normal wear, but no major damage. It is easy to play, even without all the gadgets on the newer models. It has a good, clear tone, which is more mellow than a metal piccolo. It can be used outdoors without fear of warping. The metal headjoint gives the instrument versatility, as it brightens the tone when needed. Great for students who play in both marching and concert band.
