Today, we’re very pleased to offer this 1987 Getzen Eterna 940 Piccolo Trumpet w/Original Hardshell Case, Bb/A Leadpipes & Vincent Bach 7E Mouthpiece! It has been very gently owned and is in excellent condition with minimal wear! Light, normal surface scratches and a tiny ding can be detected upon close inspection, but it’s in overall beautiful shape. Looks, plays and sounds fantastic! Original hardshell case is in excellent cosmetic shape and is 100% functional. The Eterna 940 (short model) Piccolo has been in the Getzen line for many years. It offers a free-blowing feel with excellent intonation. It is constructed in the Getzen Pro Shop and comes standard with a cornet shank receiver. The piccolo trumpet is regarded as a dependable tool for Baroque literature and specialty music. Hand lapped nickel silver. Cornet shank Bb and A leadpipes. 3 5/8 two piece short, open bend, yellow brass. Fourth valve for alternate fingering 1-3 valve combinations.
