The key springs are all good, but pads need attention, so it becomes progressively “breathy” as you play down the scale. With the tuning slide set 1/2 way, it plays in A440. The keys all work ok, (but, along with the pads, they would probably benefit from a service). It is in very good, antique condition, with no splits, or repairs to the woodwork (see photos).
