Kanstul Besson MP60 Piccolo Trumpet. I’ve had this horn for about 10 years and it has been fantastic. It is in excellent contition, great valves and compression. Pristine condition 4-valve Kanstul-made Besson piccolo trumpet (ser# 36684) with A/B-flat lead pipes, horn stand and ProTec hard case. Lead pipes take a cornet mouth piece. Kanstul confirms this is an MP60 piccolo (similar to the Kanstul Model 920) with a 460 bore big sound! Again: no mouth piece provided. Kanstul has had a very long association with the F. Besson name, having built instruments for the parent company (Boosey & Hawkes, Buffet Crampon) since the 1980’s. For sale is a gorgeous and extremely rare Kanstul made F. Besson Bb/A piccolo trumpet with a Blackburn A leadpipe. Fantastic condition, and a wonderful playing instrument. With a very dark sound for a piccolo, it plays more similar to the Scherzer than the Schilke, due to a larger bore size of. Super smooth valves and slides. No rot or rust. No major dings or dents, one very small one in the bell from mute changes. Some patina on the outside of the raw brass Blackburn pipe, however this can be cleaned off. Original leather case included. 2006 Kanstul Made Besson four Val ve Piccolo Trumpet. I personally contacted Kanstul in California regarding this outstanding piccolo trumpet. They manufactured it in May of 2006 and it is the same horn as the Kanstul 920 but branded as a Besson. This should prove to be a useful addition for your trumpet toolbox if you are a professional or aspire to that level. This trumpet is in pristine condition with little wear. There are just a few very minor blemishes and this horn is very close to being in mint condition. Included are two leadpipes, one for B flat and an A. There is no mouthpiece. Please note that the 920 and this Besson both accept a cornet mouthpiece only. Also included is a nice formed use case in good condition. Thank you for looking!
