This very well-preserved Selmer Piccolo trumpet plays exceptionally well. It is made of brass with a lacquer finish and it does have some places where the lacquer is worn. It has great valve compression and is ready to play. Both the A and Bb lead pipes are included. Maurice Andre played this model of piccolo trumpet for many years. The original case is included, which is in excellent condition and both catches close fine. The Selmer piccolo uses trumpet shank mouthpieces and it comes with a new silver plated 7c trumpet mouthpiece. YAMAHA YPC-91 PROFESSIONAL GRENADILLA WOOD PICCOLO – BEAUTIFUL CONDITION. The wood is seasoned grenadilla and is handmade by Yamaha’s top craftsman. The toneholes are undercut and the mechanism is solid sterling silver with white gold springs and split E mechanism. This particular piccolo has been fully overhauled with new pads. The silver is excellent and the condition of the wood superb. BEAUTIFUL AND RARE HANS REINER HANDMADE GRENADILLA WOOD PICCOLO (#120). Schöneck is a village near Markneukirchen southwest of Dresden in the heart of East Germany’s historic instrument making region. Hans Reiner learned flute making from his father Anton, who worked in the Philip Hammig shop. Hans completed his apprenticeship and worked with excellent craftsmen at the Gebr. Mönnig and Phillip Hammig firms.
